We met Debbie nearly 5 years ago over a cup of coffee and a dream house `wish list` that would intimidate anyone.  It was the peak of the market, and as a young couple and potential new homeowners, the bank had approved us for what should have bought a small condo or a `fixer upper`. Placing an offer for any house is as daunting and terrifying experience, but with Debbie`s guidance everything went smoothly and we made an offer on our dream home....all `wish list` boxes checked! Our situation was unique in that it was not the offer price that closed the deal: it was the personal connection we made with the previous homeowners. With Debbie`s innate understanding of thse dynamics, she prepped us before we met the elderley couple and gave us sound advice on how to present our offer.  As we later found out, we had been outbid.  However, the homeowners told us that because we demonstrated integrity and put our `best foot forward`, they wanted to give us the opportunity to make their house our home, even at the loss of personal revenue.  We are now proud homeowners on an acreage in beutiful Water Valley, and every day give thanks....Thank You Debbie!  And the original homeowners.....they visit every fall to collect horseradish root!

It all comes down to relationships.  Debbie Ferguson has provided me realtor services for the purchase and sale of several properties since I moved to Calgary in 2002.  There are some basic requirements of realtors that Debbie possesses: knowledge of the city and surrounding area, attention to detail, negotiation skills, referral to other services (that are reasonably priced and provide great service), eternal optimism and energy, and a strong focus on a “relationship based” business model.  Debbie’s clients are repeat and referral – I was initially referred to her by friends, am a repeat customer, and a referrer (is there such a word? Possibly in Italian J)   Debbie focuses on relationships with her clients, providing them with the best service possible; as well as her network of relationships with others – such as other realtors, and legal and banking service providers.  These attributes are critical when you need support in the significant transition of buying and selling something as important and precious as a home.  I am ever grateful for the care and the piece of mind Debbie has provided me during my moves to new homes.
